What About Fasting for Detox and Weight Loss? Is It Safe?

Question by byebye: What about fasting for detox and weight loss? Is it safe?
I AM TRYING to simplify my life, lose weight and get healthier. If there were spiritual benefits that would be a plus as well.

I found a whole ‘subculture’ of people (committed to-) and methods of- ‘fasting’ out there.

The basic method involves drinking lots of water (one ounce per every pound of weight you are on a daily basis), using eminas extensively, and going without food (ALL food) for 7-14 days while your body cleanses itself — and doing this (within certain guidelines) fairly regularly or periodically.

Ida know — toxins or no toxins, the idea of going without ANY food for such long periods seems dangerous (anything more than a day seems it could be hazardous for some) — and the prolonged or even repeated use of emenas seems like it could be quite dangerous, too.

I know that yaw’ll say you’re not doctors but I already know what my doctor would say.

Any educated or semi-educated or skilled, semi-skilled or trained or opinionated folks want to comment?

Okay people stop advertising!!!!!!!!

and for the fasting;
it can be extremly great for you, or terrible.

If I were you I’d start with a three day fast, have two days of low calorie then do it again.

Or try a juice fast, it’s not quite as extreme.

but fasting will not hurt you unless you do long term fasting.
if you are really having a hard time eating try some negative calorie foods/low calories foods; Apples, hard boiled eggs, celery, soup or other fruits.

What I do, is Semi-Fast my food, which is just juicing you food, after you have chewed it, and dropping the bulk out of my mouth, into a cup.

I Chew the food till the flavor is gone, then swallow the juice, and drop the rest out of my mouth, you can do it with about any kind of food, except soup.

This has been the diet of ants for over 100 million years, and there are no fat ants. I call it the Ant Diet. It takes about a week to get use to it, Try it on potato chips, what is neat, the more you Semi-Fast, the tastier your food gets. I have done it for about a year, and my weight is down to 185, from 230.

I just love Semi-Fasting, can eat anything, as much as i want, and lose weight. But you can’t know it if you don’t try it. People say, well you don’t get any fiber, you don’t need fiber for juice!

Corn beef will be on sale next few weeks, that is just great to Semi-fast on, in fact any meats are. Your stomach is no bigger than your Fist, so why stretch it! Your whole body is relaxed, you can get to sleep easier.
