George M talks about his experience at Recovery Associates – George talks about his experience here at www.recoveryassociatespalmbeach.com. My Name is George I am 56 years old. I’m from New jersey, and now I live in a halfway house and go to Recovery Associates. Just to fill you in I’ve had quite a few years of sobriety in the past. I relapsed and started using drugs again. My wife and I decided I needed to go back to rehab, so I went to rehab for 45 days. It was then suggested I go to an outpatient. I said okay. I’m one of those guys that doesn’t have all the answer, and I need answers. Most would think he had years and years of sobriety what could they possibly teach him? Well let me tell you something. I had one of those wow moments when I went to Recovery Associates. I’m not being paid for this. this is my opinion, and its honest. I met a guy named Bill, he welcomed me. When I met him I was sitting up on the couch by the end of the interview I was laying down. I want to say a lot of us come in here for a lot of different reasons, and if your really after recovery and really want to learn about yourself. RA is a great place to go. Their all in recovery 99,9% of them. They understand where we come from. They also have a Christian path. If your looking for a God of your understanding you can go that route or the traditional route which is AA based where they do therapy, have individual counseling sessions, and they work with you. I told them I would like to have a man that is married, older, and has children so he can relate to me
