Detox Hallucinations — Is This Normal.?
Question by : Detox hallucinations — is this normal.?
I have a friend who is coming off of heroin. She had been addicted for about a year or so and had hidden it from everyone in her life.
She has been clean for about 3 weeks – 1 month… in this time she has “accepted god into her life” and now she can “see the evil around her”. She keeps saying things about seeing spectral bugs coming out of people, and how god is talking to her. She’s been seeing lots of stuff that she feels is “God talking to her”…I honestly don’t know what to do for this poor girl. Half of her sentences are starting off with “I know this is going to sound crazy” which means that she at least KNOWS that she sounds crazy… but I’m nearing my wits end, how do I help this girl understand that she’s delusional?
Is this normal?
